I'm a Lead Hardware Engineer at the Technology Innovation Institute (TII) in Abu Dhabi developing hardware for cryptography. I previously worked (or have interest in) in fully-homomorphic encryption (FHE), post-quantum cryptography (PQC), high-performance hardware designs, FPGA development, all things hardware-related ^.^.

I have Masters and PhD degrees in Electrical Engineering from the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC) in Brazil. I've worked before as a postdoctoral researcher at INESC-ID Lisbon, focused on advancing cryptographic implementations both in software and hardware. I have worked as a Digital Hardware Designer at both Capgemini Engineering and Crypto Quantique, where I worked implementing the physical layer of Quantum Key Distribution Systems and on Physical Unclonable Funtions technology, respectively.
